Malaga Airport AGP
Malaga City is just 6 kms from the airport and is an easy 10 minute drive. It's a 10 min ride too via electric train to the new Maria Zambrano Train Station.
The airport at Malaga is the largest in Andalusia, and is busy as well as modern with the majority of passengers arriving from the UK.
The airport also processes transit flights from Spain, and flights from other large cities in Europe.
Malaga, a Spanish city is a tourist delight; you will find it very modern but yet historic. It is a vivacious port and is situated on the Mediterranean Sea making it a popular tourist destination.
Western Costa del Sol
As you turn right upon leaving the airport, the N340 and the new A7 motorway take you to places in Western Costa Del Sol such as Torremolinos,
Benalmadena, and Marbella.
Torremolinos has grown from a fishing village to a tourist destination.
Benalmadena occupies a small costal strip. It is 20 kms from the airport and you can get there in 15 minutes via car
Marbella though partially walled has quality resorts to discover. It is at a distance 50 kms from the airport and the drive is just 30 mins.
Eastern Costa del Sol
As you turn left upon leaving the airport, you will find Malaga City only 6 km away and once past Malaga places such as
Torre del Mar and Nerja. Nerja is 65 kms from the airport and it takes approximately 45 minutes via car. The main tourist spot is Cuevas De Nerja which is 3 kms from the town.
